This is a topic we could all use in our lives, and seems to be the biggest challenge for most of the clients I come across in my work. Another Hump Day!
Woo Hoo!
So how are you all feeling?
It seems as though there’s a lot of Shifting going on in the world today.
Not sure if it’s more than ever before, but it sure does feel like it.
I know personally for myself there has been major changes happening.
So it got me to thinking, when changes happen that are beyond our control, how do we deal with it?
I’ve noticed like with anything, how you except things is all based on your attitude. Sure maybe your house is on fire, or maybe your boss really is a jerk? What’s most important during these shifting times is to remain calm and focused. Let’s use the above example of your house being on fire:
Being in a state of calmness especially if your house is on fire is extremely beneficial. For a few reasons. It can allow you to save lives. Chaos can only bring on more chaos, by accessing the situation calmly you can save valuable time and make smarter decisions. Being in a state of calmness also allows your vibration to stay at a higher level, and we all know how important maintaining a higher vibration is.
So yes while I do agree it is very important to let out steam, do Not do it when you’re in the thick of it. Calmness always creates calmness!
After the smoke settles let it all out, scream and shout all you want, but when the fire is hot remain calm, or you will get burned!

Tarsha’s Hump Day – Turn The Other Cheek?

It’s Wednesday 10-3-2012
and you know what that means?
It’s Hump Day!
I have a question…
Are you a Turn the other cheek type of person, like Jesus?
Or a stand up for your rights type of person, like Malcolm X?
This is something I’ve actually never had to question for most of my life.
Well at least outside of the last 10 yrs.
You see, I’ve always been a turn the other cheek type of person.
When I first came across this concept in Matthew 5:39
“But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.”
I must have been about 5 yrs old when I first read that quote, and for me it just made so much sense. You place your Faith in the Lord, NOT in man.
Meaning if someone is disrespecting you in anyway, THEY are the ones NOT Practicing Faith, Not You. Your job is to be still and Know. Do not become like the evil doers. Do not become judgmental like them. For that will make You like Them. Stand strong and walk in your Faith!
I know, I know, all of this is easier said then done.
So what do you do when you so obviously have been disrespected?
Or when you know you are being the gossip of the town?
People will be people, they will judge you for no reason. They will make you question your Faith time and time again, but ask yourself this, are you here to serve man, or are you here to Serve God?
Sometimes the hardest, yet most Nobelist thing you can do is to turn the other cheek. When those moments come in your life where you feel you must stand up for yourself, do so with kindness in your heart.
Know your Truth, and the Truth shall set you Free!

It’s Wednesday September 19th 2012,
and you know what that means!
It’s Hump Day!
It’s official, Saturday is the first day of Fall!
I love the Fall. It’s that time of year that gets you in the mood of doing.
Those long, hazy, lazy days of Summer are over. The Sun is starting to set earlier. The leaves are changing hue, and we can start to feel the slight chill in the air. Well, that is if you live in a part of the world that has seasons. Us on the west coast enjoy lovely weather all year round, sorry to rub it in.
This is a great time to asses what you have done, and where you are going?
There are less than 100 days left until the new year.
Why not use this time to do a little Fall cleaning?
As you change out your summer clothes for your winter clothes, why not see if maybe there are some items you can donate to your local Shelter, or Good Will?
Old clothes, or maybe even a warm winter coat, can bring a smile to someone in need.
This simple act of giving is not only a great way to de-clutter, it’s a great way to raise your vibrations.
After all when you give, you receive in more ways than one.
You can even have a garage sale, de-clutter, and put some extra dollars in your pocket!
Whatever you choose to do? Just do it!
You never know what extra space all that de-cluttering will bring you?
Out with the old, and in with theKNU!
